Can I claim my treatment under extended health/Do you direct bill?

 

Any treatment that includes Acupuncture is eligible for coverage under extended health. I do not direct bill but you will be provided with a receipt to submit to your insurance. 

 

Are treatments safe for pregnancy?

 

General Acupuncture is incredible for supporting pregnancy and the postpartum phase, and all facial treatments except for micro-needling can either be modified to be safe, or are already.  During pregnancy we do not needle the face, so that can simply be omitted!  Facials at Roo are the perfect treatment while pregnant, as the addition of body acupuncture is a beautiful support tool. 

 

I have botox or filler, can I receive treatment?

 

Absolutely. We can work around the areas, or help you transition out of injectables, we just need a resting period of around 3 weeks before you come in. Individual treatment descriptions have guidelines for this as well. 

 

How often do I need to come in?

 

This depends on the kind of treatment you are receiving, and what your goals are. We will work up a treatment plan for you but nothing is set in stone. Whether you come once a year or once a month, I am thrilled to have you. 

 

Which treatment is right for me?

I don’t like needles, does Acupuncture need to be included in my facial?

 

If needles aren’t for you, they can be omitted from any facial treatment, just make a note of it on your online intake that you receive after booking. 

 

I have sensitive skin, can you work with that?

 

Every product used is non toxic and clean, and we have an extensive back bar so your products are tailored just for your needs. If you have a specific product that you cannot deviate from, feel free to bring it along with you.
