How to prepare

Lymphatic drainage is to be avoided if any of the following apply: Acute Infections & Fever: Active bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, including fever, cold, or flu, as the massage can spread the infection. Cardiovascular Issues: Congestive heart failure, unstable hypertension, or severe varicose veins (direct pressure should be avoided). Blood Clots: Acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism due to the risk of dislodging the clot. Kidney or Liver Disease: Severe renal failure or liver disease, as these organs cannot handle the increased fluid volume processed by the lymphatic system. Active Cancer/Malignancies: Particularly in areas with active tumors or metastasis.Recent Surgery/Open Wounds: Post-surgical cases with open wounds, stitches, or surgical drains still in place, unless cleared by a doctor. Acute Inflammation: Recent trauma, skin infections, or acute rashes in the treatment area.
